SATURDAY DANCE EVENT:
There is a TSDS Dance this Saturday, October 1st, at Murphey School (Davina & the Vagabonds is the band performing). If you come and sign and sign up for Local Palooza (for information about this event, scroll down) on the spot, you will automatically get a free pass to Thursday night Hot Club in addition to a chance to win an Eastern Balboa Championship (EBC) pass!
WORKING ON THE BASICS:
For those of whom want to learn the basics, if you sign up for the Beginner Jump Start on Saturday at the dance will get:
· all of the above (free Hot Club Pass, chance to win EBC pass) plus
· a free pass to The Carolina Dance Club Sunday Dance at the Elks,
· 50% off a class by MAD Academy (series of 4 lessons), AND
· you also get the JumpStart Package for just $20 ($5 less than the student price)
No Plans for FALL BREAK? No worries!
During next weekend, October 8 & 9, you can attend Local Palooza for only $25 on the first day (Thanks to Stephen Adamo for the deal!) of four lessons which will open your knowledge of swing dance. In addition to these lessons, you will be able to go for free to the dance at night. Summer break is beginning to fade away and DSDC is getting ready for an amazing new year!
With our first showcase ever completed, we are revved up for another this school year! We hope to make our showcases one of the showcases everyone wants to attend. (Our goal is to fill all the seats Page auditorium! Shh…)
